Abstract: Helicopter Management System
Due to the rising number of helicopters, the task of planning their stationing is getting more and more complicated. The job of keeping records for every helicopters' flights and checks is extremely complex and leads to many duplicated records.
The aim of our project was to analyse the current working processes and to ease the working tasks by creating a computer based solution.
We built a dynamic web-application by using the latest technologies like PHP and MySQL as well as SSL for securing the communication between client and server. The client side is implemented as web-front-end by using the standardized XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The result of our work is a powerful and easy to use intranet solution which not only saves some working time but also helps with storing the data in a central location.
